Bible Resources for HOme

Hello Preschool Families!

I wanted to direct you to some Bible resources you might like to use at home to help your child grow in his/her relationship with God. Below you will find some of my favorites, including some resources that we will be using in the classroom this year.
  • The Story Bible - A beautifully illustrated book of Bible stories. We will be reading from this during Bible lessons at school. It is also referenced in the weekly Bible family letters.
  • The Jesus Storybook Bible - This Bible connects every story to Christ, pointing to the Savior from the very beginning. Jesus is at the center of every story and children can clearly see how much God loves His children. (This is always my go-to gift for friends/family members expecting a baby.)
  • The Beginner's Bible- This is the same Bible we have available in the classroom for children to read/look at.
  • Arch Books - Available through CPH, these books illustrate and tell various Bible stories. We will even use some of these during Bible time to review the weekly Bible Story in another format.
  • Bible Story Figures - A downloadable resource that can be purchased through CPH. You can print these figures and your child can use them to retell Bible stories. We will be using the same figures in class as we hear and retell weekly Bible stories.
I hope you find these resources and materials helpful!

Blessings,
Ms. Barker
